On Wednesday 18th September (5pm) we will host a Whānau Hui here at school. At this hui, Matua Robin will go over the school direction, the financial results and the pending changes to NCEA. Even if your child is not at senior level at school as yet, the NCEA information will be extremely valuable. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions and clarify anything you are unsure of.
Because we are providing a hangi for whānau, it is important that we have numbers so that we can adequately cater for those in attendance. PLEASE EITHER REPLY TO firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (06) 844 6600 before 3pm on Monday 16th September.
INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS (IDPs) (All Students – Years 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13)
It’s IDP time again! And it’s the last one for the year. The Student Release day, Wednesday 25th September 2019, has been set aside for Whānau Group Teachers to meet with students and parents/caregivers in order to carry out the planning and goal setting necessary for the remainder of the year and in the future. These meetings are very important to us therefore no normal classes will run on this day however all students and families are expected to attend an IDP meeting. The IDP takes approximately 20 minutes, so appointment times are required. IDP appointments are booked online at www.schoolinterviews.co.nz – the event code has been forwarded home via email and sms message.
IDP meetings are held in Whānau Group rooms unless otherwise informed. A map of where these meetings are held will be displayed at the school office. If you need assistance booking your child’s IDP, please contact the Whānau Group Teacher – email addresses for all staff are available under the Contact Us tab above.
