Rolling Strike action is as follows: Please note that we are notified three days prior to the strike action and endeavour to contact whānau as soon as possible.

Tuesday 14 October - Year 9 akonga to remain at home

Wednesday 15 October - Year 10 ākonga to remain at home

Thursday 16 October - Year 11 and 12 ākonga to remain at home

We will update this list as notifications from PPTA are received.

As the majority of our teaching staff will be involved in the strike it means that we cannot run normal timetabled classes for the year level(s)/days listed above.

We ask that ākonga stay at home on the date specific to their year level; however, if this is not possible, limited supervision will be available at kura. Please email enquiries@tamatea.school.nz or phone 844 6600 should your child need to be supervised at school on any of the above days.

We will contact each year level as we are notified of the strike action to ensure you are kept up to date. Please keep an eye on your email inbox.
